How to Prepare Your Property for listing Photo Shoot
Listing your home can be a lot of work and overwhelming! I want to help by providing a shortlist of the most important things you can do to be prepared. By following this checklist you will ensure the very best photos, a smooth photoshoot, and the absolute best first impressions! Pictures or web presence is the NEW CURB APPEAL!!! good pictures can make someone book a showing OR keep scrolling.

Exterior
These are going to be the very first photos buyers will see and just like in real life can be the first impression!
- Mow, edge and blow off your yard one to two days prior to the scheduled shoot.
- Pressure wash your home and driveway
- Clean any leaves off roof, having a clean roof makes a huge impact!
- Remove weeds from flower beds, and add fresh pine straw/mulch.
- Trim any landscaping that has become overgrown or may be blocking the home.
- Place trashcans and recycling inside the garage, we will not be photographing the garage.
- If there is a pool, ensure it is clean and inviting.
- Park cars in the street.
Interior
- Open all blinds
- Turn off ceiling fans
- Vacuum and mop
- Ensure all lights are working
- Put away pet dishes and toys
- Closets can be used for storage as we will not shoot these
Kitchen
- Remove everything from the front and top of the fridge.
- Clean off countertops, leave only appliances. Less is more.
- Remove towels and small rugs
- Clean stainless steel appliances
Bedrooms
- All beds should be made.
- Put away cable chargers, keys, etc from the bedside tables.
- Remove portable fans.
- Tidy up kids toys
Bathrooms
- Clean countertops including all personal items. Less is more!
- Remove small rugs and trash cans.
- Put away towels
- Clean shower glass
